Illustrator and cartoonist Luc Alain is originally from Ottawa and now lives in Gatineau, Quebec. He has been drawing since his childhood, however, he picked up visual art basics at the University of Ottawa. Luc’s artistic background is in children’s illustrations and cartooning and he has published in various magazines and local newspapers since 1999.

Inspiration comes to him through his keen sense of observation, news media and his own life experiences. More recently, Luc has sought to fulfill his desire to tackle larger canvases most often acrylics but will continue producing visual art with other materials such as pastel and charcoal.
